Basic Program

This summer, Black Magic Farm is offering the most exciting program in the area for the young horse enthusiast.

We have filled our five day camp program with a variety of horse activities for the horse lover.Whether you are beginner or a seasoned rider, this camp is for you!!

Our philosophy is to have safe fun combined with an appreciation for the animal. To provide the most productive camp experience possible, campers explore and learn about the diverse field of horsemanship - not just riding. Campers are paired with a partner and as a team they share a horse for the week. They learn about and participate in the day-to-day care of their horse. In addition, they receive daily riding lessons, which cover as many different disciplines as time allows. Local professionals will also conduct lectures and demonstrations for the group and speak about the Equine Industry and their trade.

FUN - FUN - FUN

This is not your regular summer day camp! As camper's interests vary, so does our program. The possibilities are endless!! Trail rides, pizza parties, movies, interactive learning, and LOTS of dirt - are all included!!

SAFETY

At Black Magic Farm, safety is key!!! To satisfy this commitment to safety, our camp instructors are professionals with extensive training and expertise, and our camp horses are of the highest quality and proven school horses.

The entire staff at Black Magic Farm guarantees the camper the same safe, educational, fun environment that we pride ourselves on all year long. All the camper needs are long pants and a boot-like shoe with a heel. We provide helmets for those who need them.

Under New Hampshire Equine law a participant in Equine Activities assumes the risk of any injury, harm, damage or death and any legal responsibilities that may occur to participants from the inherent risks associated with Equine Activities.

CAMP WEEKS

We offer four weeks of camp from which to choose. Please note a first and second choice of week on the application.

Camp applicants are taken on a first-come first-serve basis. Due to the quality of camp there is a maximum number allowed for each week. Campers are expected to attend each day of camp. Camp runs from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday - Friday.

COSTS

Camp is $350.00 per week. This includes the instructor, horse and supplies. A $100.00 non-refundable deposit to reserve a space is due at the time of application.
