Saddle-Up For St. Jude

Every year, the students and boarders at Black Magic Farm saddle up and go on a trail ride to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Last year's fund-raising event was held on Saturday and Sunday, Oct 20-21. A total of $3721.00 was raised for a worthy cause, while horses and riders were having fun alike. Thank you to all that participated and let's hope that this year's ride will be equally successful!

The Program

The "Saddle-Up For St. Jude" program is designed to raise funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. It is a trail ride where horse lovers can enjoy a one day outing. Riders obtain sponsors for each mile they ride, and all monies help to continue the life-saving programs at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Individuals collecting $35.00 or more receive a T-shirt, individuals collecting $75.00 or more receive a T-shirt and tote bag, individuals collecting $125.00 or more receive a T-shirt, tote bag, and a sweatshirt.

Everyone completing the "Saddle-Up for St. Jude" receives the patch pictured above. Monies raised from this event will build an endowment fund to ensure St. Jude Children's Research Hospital's continued efforts in research and treatment of childhood catastrophic diseases.
